Cheap Designers Edge L-1706 One-Light Outdoor 100-Watt Incandescent Weather Tight Industrial Light with Clear Globe Review
I bought 2 of these to the laundry room. I associate them with EMT channels so I could mount one above the ceiling box. The threading is 1 / 2 "to be compatible with all hardware EMT & flex at Home Depot. I do not use it outside but if I am, they include a rubber weather seal. The ball is also angry that the glass is a nice touch. They are not explosion proof such as industrial equipment they imitate real but they are around $ 200/ea. So for 1 / 10,the price I am very happy with it. I had to look around quite a bit to find them because I do not know what type of fixture is called.
