I've tried several MR11 and MR16 LED lamps, and this is clearly the best of MR11s that I've tried, and probably better than most if not all MR16s that I've tried. The light really is a "warm white": not visible from the place along side the halogen bulb. It also managed to be both extremely bright and wide-angle. Most MR11s LED and MR16s that I've tried in the past both have a very narrow beam (even when they claimed as flood lights, spot lights do not) or very dim.This light really bright, and beam width is comparable with MR11 halogen flood.

The weakness is possible only light I can think of is that it uses an array of LEDs, and if placed very close to the surface (for example: if mounted on a wall, the wall of the right of it), you may be able to see individual points of light on the surface, which sort of destroys the illusion that You're dealing with a ball "single". Well, the other downside is that I doubt that it is dimmableHalogen is the way (just because dimmable LED light is almost impossible to find), but I do not have the need for dimming in my application, so do not be a problem for me.

This is our brightest MR 11 bulb. It has 10 high-powered led bulbs, which produce about a 3 watt Luxeon bulb. The light pattern is perfect for illuminating displays or even just adding accent lighting yet it is still bright enough to be used anywhere. LED bulbs are compatible with all types of magnetic transformers but not all electronic transformers. Many electronic transformers require a minimum load which is greater than that provided by LED bulbs. LED bulbs will usually not work properly (no light output, flickering, and strobing) in fixtures that have integral electronic transformers in each fixture. We recommend changing the power LED power supply which can be purchase in our website. In addition, many standard Track Light power supplies will produce voltages as high as 16 with little or no load (LED bulbs provide little load).
