I first bought 2 from a few months ago for mood lighting. I lit them up from the floor, through the plant, to shine on the ceiling. One of them actually failed after a few days. I am concerned about the quality and longevity. I sent it back and ordered a replacement. Now been several months and they still work.

I ran them in a smooth transition mode. I turn them on / off button with the X-10 system my remote control. Once or twice they have lost another programmingI have concerns about the quality.

In fine mode they cycle through the color spectrum. There seems to be a problem at the beginning of the cycle in which they appear briefly or flash on and off-white. This needs to be corrected. They should blend smoothly through the red, green, and blue, and then back to red again. There should not be white in this mode. Another problem is that it does not appear as a bright red that may be caused by some other yellow light is very dim in the room.
All in all, I am very pleased with this and I am glad I bought it.
